Our Revolution is teaming-up with US Reps. Rashida Tlaib, Pramila
Jayapal and others on a new Congressional resolution to Defund the
Oligarchs and Fund the People.  


Trump returned to power promising to “drain the swamp” and fight for
working people — instead he’s turning our government into a personal
ATM to enrich his oligarch donors and his own family. 

 

New research from Our Revolution, first reported by [ [link removed] ]The Guardian,
shows that Trump’s mega-donors from the crypto, oil and gas, and
private detention industries poured nearly $700 million into electing
him and MAGA.

 

Since then, they’ve raked in more than $170 billion in tax breaks,
government contracts, and policy favors. That’s an 18,000% return on
investment — or $18 billion back for every $1 million spent in the
2024 election.

Our campaign isn’t just about exposing corruption — it’s about ending
corporate control of our government and cutting off the pipelines

“Look at the for-profit scheme behind ICE and Border Patrol —
corporations are making billions detaining our children and tearing

Take GEO Group and CoreCivic, the two largest private prison
contractors. Our research shows they poured nearly $5 million into
Trump and GOP campaigns — and have since seen an obscene 11,050%

Our Revolution organizer Dieu Do also joined our live call to give a
report from the frontlines in Minneapolis, where she has been helping
lead the grassroots resistance to ICE.


“I’ve watched protesters be brutalized with tear gas, pepper spray,
and flashbangs simply for exercising their constitutional rights,”
[ [link removed] ]she said. “We’ve seen children detained and used as bait to lure
family members out of their homes.”

 

“What stands out just as much as the cruelty is the solidarity —
communities organizing patrols, mutual aid, and legal observers to
keep neighbors safe,” Dieu continued. “This is a watershed moment —
more people than ever are asking why their tax dollars are funding
terror instead of healthcare, housing, and education.”

TAKING ON CORPORATIONS COMPLICIT WITH ICE

Across the nation, Our Revolution activists and our allies are
ramping up grassroots pressure to stop corporations from
collaborating with the Trump regime to terrorize our communities and
target our neighbors. 


In St. Louis, we protested outside the headquarters of Entreprise
Rent-a-Car, a privately held company that does over $80 million a
year in business with federal agencies, including Homeland Security. 

 

No corporation should be helping masked ICE agents hunt down our
neighbors and brutalize our people. We will keep up the backlash and
public pressure for Enterprise and other complicit companies to do
the right thing.

 

This work takes resources, but we’re not backing down. Our
communities are relying on us, and we’re relying on grassroots

In the Bay Area, Our Revolution protested outside Palantir’s Palo
Alto office Thursday to expose how the company is cashing in on ICE
surveillance and repression.

 

As Palantir’s stock soars on lucrative government contracts, our
activists are calling out a system that uses public dollars to fund
mass surveillance, target immigrants, and endanger communities.

“The Defund the Oligarchs, Fund the People resolution is about taking
our tax dollars back from billionaires like Peter Thiel and
corporations like Palantir — and stopping companies that are
profiting off harm to our communities,” Our Revolution East Bay
co-chair Susana Williams told [ [link removed] ]American Community Media. 


VICTORY! Avelo Airlines cuts ties with ICE. Our movement showed up at
airports from California to Maryland, and as a result Avelo Airlines
is grounding ALL of 

its deportation flights.

 

Our activists also joined allies to protest outside AT&T stores in
Chicago — demanding they drop their multimillion-dollar ICE
contracts, profiting from using its tech to help terrorize our
communities. 

 

When corporations align with authoritarian policies, people suffer.
But when we unite as neighbors and movement builders, we make clear
that our collective power is stronger than corporate greed.

This race is a nail-biter!  Analilia Mejia - former political
director for Bernie 2020 - is leading by a few hundred votes with 90%
counted in Thursday’s primary election for the Congress seat in New
Jersey’s 11th District.

 

A win in this race will send shockwaves through the establishment as
she ran a people-powered campaign against big-money funded opponents.

Congrats to Christian Menefee on his victory in the special election
for a Congressional seat representing Texas’ 18th District!

 

Christian has been a fearless advocate for voting rights,
environmental justice, and holding powerful interests accountable —
now he’s bringing that energy to Capitol Hill!

Our Revolution is proud to endorse Nida Allam for Congress in North
Carolina’s 4th District. A longtime movement leader and former
political director for Bernie Sanders’ 2016 campaign, Nida also has
Bernie’s backing in this key 2026 race.

 

Nida also had our support in her successful run for Durham County
Commission, where she helped raise the minimum wage and expand
funding for immigrant services. As she said on our live organizing
call Monday:  “Ending the oligarchy’s power over our country is not a
partisan issue — it’s about how we fight for working people.”

Our Revolution proudly endorses Rep. Delia Ramirez for reelection to
Congress. Since taking office, Delia has been a bold leader for
Medicare for All, environmental justice, workers’ rights, and
immigrant dignity.

 

Delia is also a key partner in our fight to Defund the Oligarchs and
Fund the People, signing on to the resolution and working with us to
confront corporate power.

We’re excited to support another great progressive candidate running
for U.S. Congress in Illinois: Junaid Ahmed in District 8. 

 

A grassroots organizer, small business owner, and son of immigrant
working-class parents, Junaid has spent his life building community
power — even co-founding Chi-Care, which has delivered over one
million meals to unhoused neighbors.

 

On our live call, he shared why he took our Defund the Oligarchs
pledge, calling it central to his campaign. “Until we end this
oligarchical system, we’re not going to have positive change — this
is the fight.”

And, we’re backing Karina Villa for Illinois Comptroller! A State
Senator and former school social worker, Karina brings deep
experience fighting for working families, strong public schools,
affordable healthcare, and budgets that put people first.

She understands that budgets are moral documents. As Comptroller, she
will push for transparency and accountability, ensure schools and
service providers are paid on time, and fight to close corporate tax
loopholes so powerful interests finally pay their fair share.

Nick Uniejewski has our support in the race for Illinois State Senate
(District 6), where he’s running to deliver bold, practical change:
housing, public transit, and getting corporate money out of politics
so working people — not special interests — shape policy. 

Nick is a longtime community organizer and policy analyst who’s built
real people power — founding the Chicago Salon Club, bringing
neighbors together around housing and transit solutions.

Commissioner. A rancher, longtime organizer, and President of the
Texas Progressive Caucus, Clayton has spent his life taking on
corporate agribusiness and fighting for economic justice for farmers,

and water, support regenerative agriculture, and ensure family

primaries and calling for real campaign finance reform.

Pledge to reject any independent expenditures made by corporate or
dark money groups on behalf of his campaign—on one important
condition: that all of his primary opponents agree to do the same.

 

“For me, this is about fairness,” Jackson said. “Governments

money. Everyday people should have the same say and the same voice in
government that millionaires and billionaires have.”
