That’s me, John (headed to school at Ingram Elementary). I grew up right here in Western Pennsylvania, in Thornburg.

As a kid, my family taught me the Western PA values we all know: hard work, service, and love of country. Those values shaped who I am, and they’ve guided me throughout my life.

It’s these values that led me to step up and serve our country after the 9/11 attacks of my senior year of high school—entering the Naval Academy at just 17 years old.

It’s these values that I lived by in the Navy, serving two deployments at sea and a tour on the ground in Iraq.

It’s these values that guided me to run for Congress to deliver for our communities by working to make life less of a rip off, restore the American Dream, and protect our Constitution and our democracy.

John, it’s these values that guide me every single day—and I’m proud to represent my fellow Western Pennsylvanians in Washington.
