It’s 2026, and it still doesn't sit right with me that there are families right here in Pennsylvania who can’t count on clean, safe drinking water when they turn on their taps.
In a state as wealthy and resourceful as ours, access to clean water shouldn't be a luxury or a matter of zip code. It is a fundamental right, and quite frankly, it’s a failure of government when we don’t get the basics right.
That is why I’m so proud to announce that we just secured nearly $6 million in grant funding for local water and sewer infrastructure projects across our district.
This investment is about more than just construction. It’s about the peace of mind that comes with knowing your water is safe, your neighborhood is protected from environmental hazards, and your community has the reliable foundation it needs to thrive. These funds will go directly toward critical upgrades across the state, including communities here in Senate District 38, to ensure that we are fixing our systems before they fail.
Access to clean water is a basic necessity that every family in our community deserves. I’m in Harrisburg to make sure we don’t lose sight of the issues that actually impact your health and your home, but I need your support to keep this momentum going.
