John, our nation's young people deserve better. It's
unacceptable that gun violence is now the #1 killer of kids and teens in
America.

Students shouldn't be worrying about being gunned down at school. Parents
shouldn't have to fear the worst when they drop off their kids. We have a
right to be in public without being shot.
