Fellow Conservative,

The SAVE America Act is here — it’s like Dolly Parton jumping Mount Rushmore on a motorcycle with tons of fireworks going off and Free Bird blasting out the speakers!

Well alright, maybe not that awesome, but it’s still pretty awesome. About as awesome as a bill can be anyway.

That really should’ve been the Super Bowl halftime show this year as we celebrate America 250...
It’s the SAVE Act… but BETTER
After several years of pushing for the SAVE Act to be signed into law, momentum is building — that is, if Republicans don’t backtrack.

The grassroots have made themselves loud and clear: election integrity is a top priority. In recent weeks, the pressure has increased on Senators to pass the SAVE Act, including from President Trump himself. All that pressure worked — it actually worked so well that they made the bill even better!

Introducing the SAVE America Act.

The SAVE America Act (H.R. 7296 / S. 3752) would require both legal documentary proof of citizenship to register to vote AND for individuals to present an eligible photo identification document to cast a ballot. The combination of strengthened citizenship requirements at the point of registration and voter photo ID requirement work hand in hand to ensure that only legal voters are voting, and the person casting the vote is who they say they are. This additional measure also helps to deter ballot theft.

Under current law, there is no uniform requirement to provide proof of U.S. citizenship when registering to vote. The libs freak out when you point this out.

They argue that it’s already illegal for non-citizens to register to vote, and in many cases, voter registration forms include a citizenship question. But there is no means of verifying someone’s citizenship claim, and the Left fights tooth and nail to prevent anyone from checking.

That’s the crux of the original SAVE Act... but this is the SAVE America Act.

The new voter photo ID requirement ensures that the citizen who is registered to vote is, in fact, the individual voting. This is a popular and commonsense safeguard to reduce fraud in elections. A Pew Research Poll <[link removed]> from August 2025 found 83% of American adults support requiring all voters to show government-issued photo identification to vote, including 71% of Democrats.

Now, anything that 71% of Democrats support would normally give conservatives pause for concern. But this is the exception — even the Left understands that showing a photo ID is the simplest way to confirm that someone is who they say they are, whether that’s boarding an airplane, buying a pack of beer, or checking in at a hotel.

And no… just to set the record straight for the one millionth time, it does not stop married women from registering to vote. That’s just nonsense.

That all sounds amazing, but what’s the catch?

The House looks set to vote on the bill next week, which we anticipate passing, but that’s not a reason to be complacent. Heritage Action will be pushing for every ounce of momentum the bill could carry over to the Senate. It could be different this time if Senate Republicans use this grassroots fury to hold the Democrats’ feet to the fire.

The catch is the same as it always is — the Senate filibuster.

However, there appears to be a game plan this time. Here’s what we mean by that:

In the Senate, there is no time limit on debate. So, in theory, a Democrat could yap about a whole bunch of nothing for as long as they want to delay a vote. But I think we are all used to that by now. Typically, the Senate chooses to end debate by three fifths of the Senate affirmatively voting to “invoke cloture.” However, Senate Republicans are currently discussing enforcing all of the Senate’s rules to effectively require a “standing” or “talking” filibuster. It would take dedication, sleep deprivation, and floor time, but it could exhaust the Democrats and result in a vote on final passage (which only requires a simple majority to pass).

There’s certainly no guarantee of success, but Senate Republicans need to step it up and use all their power to deliver on what the American people voted for. Our message to Senate Republicans is clear: do all you can under the rules and fight for election integrity.

Stay tuned…
ICE Shutdown Showdown
President Trump was given a clear mandate from voters; the American people chose no amnesty, no open borders, and more deportations. Congress must back the president’s policy agenda and ensure President Trump can continue to carry out mass deportations. Ceding ground now would hand the Left a victory and encourage organized chaos to sprawl in other cities.

In Minnesota, elected officials are publicly encouraging, unhinged, criminal agitators to cause chaos and obstruct enforcement of immigration law. Their intentions are clear: Leftist activists believe riots and intimidation will stop deportations, but an unruly mob cannot veto federal law.

This week the House passed a revised appropriations minibus which contains five of the original six bills. Included in that package was a two-week continuing resolution for DHS, a key Democrat demand. That means DHS and ICE are yet to be fully funded, and the next deadline is quickly approaching.

Congressional Republicans are going to come under a lot of pressure from the left and their media allies — but also from industry groups and the Uniparty — to make a bad deal that undermines President Trump's immigration enforcement agenda.

Hey Republicans… DON’T TAKE THE BAIT!

Heritage Action in the States
Heritage Action isn’t just involved in Washington D.C. though…

State capitols are where conservatives can often times get the most wins. Across the country, Heritage Action is engaging state lawmakers on a whole host of critical issues. We’ve spoken about our work regarding redistricting, but that’s not the only fight going on.

State sessions are under way, and here’s a sneak peek into some of what we’re fighting for:

Progress Towards Sanity
A recent jury verdict is shaking the foundations of the sex-rejecting procedure machine <[link removed]>.

Fox Varian, who was pressured into a double mastectomy at 16, just won $2 million in a medical malpractice case against a surgeon and psychologist who approved the operation. There isn’t enough money in the world to undo the lifelong harm done to kids like Fox, but this verdict is a major step in the right direction.

For years, children have been funneled into the child mutilation pipeline—from social transitions in schools to dangerous hormones, and irreversible surgeries. All while the medical industry rakes in profits in the name of “civil rights” claiming these treatments are “safe.”

Fox Varian’s case is the first detransitioner malpractice lawsuit to go to trial and win. But it won’t be the last. Americans are rejecting gender ideology, and the industry that has profited from harming children is finally being held accountable.

Here’s to more wins.
