President Obama is right -- voting by mail is easy, safe, and fair.
But John: We must be vigilant. Because just take a look at this quote from another president of ours: “There is tremendous evidence of fraud whenever you have mail-in ballots.”
President Trump said that, and it’s a lie.
Trump has made dozens of false attacks on voting by mail and even threatened to take away critical funding for Michigan and Nevada just because those states mailed vote-by-mail registration applications to eligible voters.
Trump has a giant platform to spread his dangerous misinformation and he has the power to undercut voting by mail this November.
We can’t leave anything to chance. We’re sending mail-in ballot applications to voters ourselves to avoid Trump’s interference. For every $25, we can mail 20 vote-by-mail applications and we’re trying to raise $5,000 before our end-of-month deadline in two days. If you can, chip in $25 -- or any amount at all -- before midnight Friday.
