Chairman's Corner: A Note from Chairman Wood

In celebration of Black History Month and the many achievements in America I think of this quote from Rev. Dr MLK:

"The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy" - MLK Jr.

This quote encompasses our past, present and future contributions to our country.

On that note, I'm excited to announce that our own African American Coalition of Arkansas member, Dr. Dushun Scarbrough, was recognized with the Civic Leadership Award in Atlanta by the MLK, Jr. Beloved Community Awards! You can check out the event graphic below.
