John,

No institution has had a bigger impact on who I am or how I serve Northern California than Chico State.

I earned both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in agriculture there. I also spent seven years in the College of Agriculture helping students find their passion for food security, land stewardship, and sustainability. Visiting the new College of Agriculture Education Center recently was a powerful reminder of what we can achieve when we invest in our region’s future.

This is what real leadership looks like:

  • Hands-on learning that prepares the next generation for a changing world.
  • Strong partnerships with local farmers and ranchers to sustain our economy.
  • Real investment in the agricultural and natural resources that define our home.

In Congress, I will be a fierce advocate for higher education and local agriculture. I will fight to ensure our rural communities can thrive with the resources they deserve, from fire-safe forests to resilient food systems and access to high-quality, affordable healthcare.

We have a rare opportunity in this special election to send an expert who actually understands this land to Washington. Our movement is built on the same values I taught in the classroom: integrity, hard work, and showing up for one another.

Because I refuse to take a single dime of corporate PAC money, I am relying entirely on people like you to launch this special election effort. We are establishing a dedicated Special Election Fund today to ensure we can reach every voter and bring a new generation of leadership to Washington.

Will you chip in to our Special Election Fund right now and prove that our district is not for sale?

With grit and gratitude,
Audrey Denney
