Do you remember 2006?

On Team Katie, we do: That was when Arnold Schwarzenegger was elected
governor of California—the last time a Republican won statewide office in
the Golden State.

In 2026, we’re seeing parallels that make us nervous it could happen
again.

Republicans are gaining momentum right now. Two MAGA candidates have led
the non-partisan primary polls—meaning they could box out Democrats
entirely. One even posted the largest fundraising haul in the second half
of last year!

There’s good news though. A recent poll showed that
Katie Porter is the only Democrat who can pull ahead and win. All she
needs is a surge of support to pull ahead.

With the primary getting closer every day, we need to get Katie’s message
out—on TV, on people’s phones, and face to face with voters. Those efforts
are absolutely necessary, but expensive at the scale needed to win.
