Last night the progressive movement proved we have the momentum when
Analilia Mejia surged into the lead in New Jersey’s Democratic primary for
Congress:

Despite being outspent by millions by super PACs supporting her opponent,
Analilia proved that when there’s a real organizer running, we don’t need
to match the billionaires dollar for dollar — we just need to be in the
ring.
In the closing four days of the primary, the Congressional Progressive
Caucus PAC and my Medicare For All PAC moved $100,000 in advertising
dollars to support Analilia’s campaign because we know she’s exactly the
kind of leader we need right now.
Her progress, her support, the numbers coming out of her race — show the
growing wave of support for candidates who will never fold to Trump, MAGA
extremists, or corporate special interests. The midterms are starting and
our people power is growing.
This November, it’s not enough to eke out a slim Democratic majority. We
need to make sure the midterms usher in a wave of change all over the
country — with a blue wave that takes back the House and a progressive
wave that transforms the Democratic Party into a force that stands up to
the billionaires and fights for working people.
