My team and I had a crazy idea.

They came to me with an opportunity to air an ad in Texas during the Super Bowl.

This is a big play because so many primary voters will be tuning in not just to watch the game but to watch the commercials.

This is a moment where our message about bringing people together to transform our corrupt political system can really break through. This is a chance to get an important message in front of a ton of voters right before early voting.

Here’s the deal: It costs about $100,000 – as far as Super Bowl ads go, that’s a deal!

So I gave my team the green light, but the money was not in our budget. That means we need to raise the money to fund this quickly to avoid budget cuts.
