Friend,
On Election Night in 2018, as I stood in full view of the state of Georgia, I made a promise: “In our Georgia, no one will be unseen, no one will be unheard, and no one will be uninspired.” Since that night, I’ve done my best to honor and renew my commitment every day to the people of my state, and the people across America who had placed their hopes on the creation of history that night.
Because my promise to Georgia came with another promise, a promise laden with hope: Friend, the best is yet to come.
As I stand alongside all Americans fighting for a fairer future, I feel that hope. I know the best is yet to come, because on that night and in all the days and nights after, I saw people renewing themselves to the hard work that comes with fulfilling that vow, fighting joyfully and with renewed purpose for the things that we know are right.
Carolyn Bourdeaux represents the best of that fight, friend. She is fighting for our Georgia -- a Georgia that works for everyone, a Georgia where no one is unseen, unheard, or uninspired. And today, I am proud to endorse her campaign for Congress.

In 2018, Carolyn came just shy of making history and flipping GA-07 blue with a campaign built by, and for, her community. She has fought to ensure that our health care system is accessible and affordable. She has demanded equity in our maternal health outcomes, in our economic outcomes, and in our ongoing struggle for access to the ballot.
And every day, she has stood with Georgians and made clear that our fight is her fight.
Her campaign upholds the faith I have that our best lives are within reach, so long as we keep up the fight for it. And I know that, in November, she will win her race and deliver the kind of change Georgia and Washington so desperately need.
That knowledge is borne by the kind of unyielding hope that fueled so much progressive change in 2018 -- the kind of hope that affirms the belief I carry with me in all my fights.
It is the hope, and the knowledge, that the best is yet to come.
In strength,
--Stacey Abrams
