Cameron United Methodist Church Responds to Fire in Cameron

On Tuesday, Feb. 2, a fire broke out in Cameron, damaging multiple businesses and apartment buildings before reigniting early Wednesday morning. In the hours following the fire, Cameron United Methodist Church opened to accept donations for those impacted, providing food, water, household items and pet supplies. Director of Youth and Lay Ministries Morgan Scott said church staff and volunteers have been working continuously to support the community. The church is also coordinating recovery efforts with the American Red Cross and the Cameron Fire Department. You can read more about Cameron UMC’s response here →
