A strong majority of voters also believe that Trump is more focused on acquiring Greenland (66%) than lowering the cost of living (29%), their top priority. Majorities also disagree that the U.S. needs to acquire Greenland for natural resources (58%) or for national security (53%).
When regular people feel like going on an impulsive shopping spree, they tend to buy more normal things, like a random gadget from the TikTok shop that definitely won’t catch on fire. A whole sovereign country should probably be off limits — especially while 83% of voters agree that the people of Greenland should decide their political future. Fortunately, it seems like Trump has taken military action off the table, but that man says a lot of things.

ICE OUT
Whether it’s your Hinge match opening the conversation with just a “hey,” your airline requiring you to pay for a single carry-on bag, or your landlord just painting over the concerning crack in your ceiling, we’ve all learned to expect the bare minimum these days.
Except as it turns out, Republicans in Congress can’t even agree to that. Democrats are currently negotiating funding for the Department of Homeland Security in exchange for reforms to ICE operations. Our polling finds that many of the potential reforms being proposed by Democrats are popular with likely voters — including ending arrests without judicial warrants, preventing arrests at sensitive locations, requiring investigations into potentially unlawful conduct, preventing the detainment of U.S. citizens, and banning enforcement agents from wearing masks.
