What are Skills Verification Sessions?
The Coalition’s Virtual STOP THE BLEED® Skills Verification Program designed to support individuals who have applied to become a licensed STOP THE BLEED® Instructor and who meet all of the qualifications but have been unable to find an approved STOP THE BLEED® class in their area.
Once someone applies for a STOP THE BLEED® Instructor license, they can sign up for a virtual session with a qualified instructor to demonstrate the proper application of a tourniquet and how to pack a wound as well as general STOP THE BLEED® knowledge.
These sessions typically last 10 to 15 minutes. Once completed, instructor applicants will receive the STOP THE BLEED® Instructor License approval!
