John — Have you heard of the SAVE America Act?
It’s a voter suppression bill House Republicans are putting on the floor this week. 33 GOP members of the Senate are co-sponsoring it. And if it goes on to pass, it’s going to make it much harder for Servicemembers AND Veterans to vote.
It would not allow them to use their Military IDs alone to vote. It would virtually eliminate all online and mail-in voter registration. And it could force disabled Veterans, and millions of Veterans in rural communities to drive for hours just to register to vote.
John, all of our rights and freedoms are under attack right now. Trump and the GOP are desperate to figure out how they can stop us from taking back Congress. They’re doing this because they’re scared.
They think if they can make it harder to vote — even for Troops deployed overseas — they might be able to win. They’re cowards, cheats, and losers — and they’re about to piss a whole lot of people off. Republican Veterans like Ana Paulina Luna, Scott Van Orden, Cory Mills, and Ryan Zinke want to make it harder for our Troops and Veterans to vote.
The very people serving in uniform to defend our rights are having theirs restricted. It’s bullshit.
We’re going to do everything we can to defeat the SAVE America Act. And even if it does pass, we’re going to show the GOP the real meaning of FAFO.
