Hello John,

It’s time to stop pretending photo radar is about safety.

As a former traffic officer, I’ve seen firsthand what works - and what doesn’t.

Speed and red-light cameras don’t slow drivers down. They don’t prevent crashes. And they sure as hell don’t deliver justice.

They’re nothing more than portable cash registers, shaking down Arizona families under the guise of law enforcement. These cameras issue citations without a live officer present, violating your right to due process. You don’t get to face your accuser - because your accuser is a machine.

That’s not law and order. That’s government overreach for profit.

That’s why I’ve introduced SCR 1004 to finally put this question to the voters. My resolution would let Arizonans decide whether to ban photo enforcement systems - permanently - and put an end to the lies we’ve been told about their effectiveness.

Let me be clear:

If the government wants to fine you, it should face you.

And If it wants to punish you, it should prove its case - in court - not in a backroom deal with a private vendor.

This isn’t just about cameras. It’s about a culture of lazy enforcement, abusive surveillance, and revenue farming disguised as public service.

If you’re ready to take a stand for real justice and real accountability, I need you with me. Will you send anything you can afford – whether it be $5, $10, $15, $20, $25, $30, $35, $50, $100, or more to help me shut the cash registers down?

America First. Always.

P.S. Photo radar is a SCAM. Help me end it!
