I will not vote to send your taxpayer dollars to the Department of Homeland Security until they start following the law and stop the chaos in Minneapolis and across the country.

I have voted against every single DHS and ICE funding since Trump took office. What they are doing is not normal and we cannot sit idly by.

Under Secretary Kristi Noem, DHS is engaging in reckless disregard for civil liberties and the rule of law. From the deportation of combat veterans, federal agents conducting arrests without warrants, and the killing of protesters, the Department of Homeland Security has become lawless.

I am demanding that any future funding bill include non-negotiable reforms.

We must restrict rogue behavior by implementing strict constraints on the use of force. We must ensure federal agents are held accountable for wrongdoing and that Border Patrol is sent back to the border where they belong.
