Tell Congress: Protect Voting Rights, Reject the SAVE Act 2.0! Republicans are trying to pass a new version of the anti-voter SAVE Act — their latest attack on our voting rights. This “SAVE Act 2.0” would be the biggest legislative rollback of voting rights in our country’s history, particularly burdening 146 million Americans who don’t have a passport, millions who can’t easily access a birth certificate, rural voters, voters of color, voters with disabilities, survivors of climate disasters, and the tens of millions of people who have changed their names. Tell Congress: keep elections free and fair — stop the SAVE Act 2.0!

Every eligible voter, no matter their race, income, ability, or zip code, has the right to choose their own leaders through free and fair elections. Generations of civil rights activists put their lives on the line to gain these rights, but now Republicans in Congress are trying to rip them away.

If passed, the SAVE Act 2.0 would deny the fundamental rights of millions of voters across the country, roll back mail voting, cause legitimate voters’ ballots to be thrown out, and make voter registration harder for over 100 million eligible voters. We can’t let this happen.

This bill would hurt communities across the country — including those already suffering from exposure to toxic pollution and other environmental injustices — and particularly burden 146 million Americans who don’t have a passport, millions who can’t easily access a birth certificate, rural voters, voters of color, voters with disabilities, survivors of climate disasters, and the tens of millions of people who have changed their names.
