Since our founding in 2017, we've been driven to identify and win America's most valuable state legislative chambers ahead of the 2021 redistricting process. We have ruthlessly focused on efficiency, working to bring new resources into the legislative space and strategically expand the map for Democrats.

We're laser focused on a small sliver of key state legislative races that can help Democrats secure majorities in critical state house chambers to build a xxxxxx against the GOP's gerrymandering and voter suppression for the next generation.

In a census year, the most powerful points of leverage in American democracy are ultimately concentrated in just a handful of states. To win power, Democrats must look south, where populations are growing and diversifying at breakneck speed.

Our investments are focused on four states in the Sun Belt: Texas, Florida, Arizona, and North Carolina. In each of these states, Republicans have total control over the redistricting process and/or have been among the worst actors in voter suppression, fueling political extremism, and distorting national outcomes.

As I wrote recently in Business Insider ([link removed]), "some of the biggest impact in the 2020 election will come from some of the most overlooked races." It's these key state legislative races where our investments can have the greatest impact with the maps for a projected 82 congressional districts at stake for the next decade.
