Dear John,
My top priority in Congress is to lower costs, improve the quality of life for working families in the Inland Empire and make our community safer. When people feel safe and have peace of mind, our community thrives. That’s why I’m proud to have secured over $2 million in federal funding for local police departments here in the Inland Empire.
Here’s a look at the public safety projects this funding will support:
$1,031,000 for the City of San Bernardino’s Mobile Crime Prevention Program
This project will improve public safety by expanding and supporting the City’s surveillance technology, giving our law enforcement the tools they need to better prevent and solve crimes, apprehend criminals and respond to incidents. This funding is an investment in our community’s future and marks a step toward a stronger, safer San Bernardino. I look forward to seeing the impact this funding has in helping our community feel and truly be more secure.
$1,031,000 for the City of Rialto’s Police Station Technology, Safety and Equipment Project

It’s crucial that law enforcement is equipped with the tools they need to do their jobs so they can keep residents safe. This project will improve public safety and reduce crime by allowing the Rialto Police Department to develop a Real-Time Crime Center and Dispatch Center to more effectively monitor and respond to incidents. I am proud to deliver this funding for the hardworking men and women of the Rialto Police Department who protect our community every day.
These projects are just a few examples of how federal investments can help make life better and safer for working families in the Inland Empire. I’ll keep fighting in Congress to deliver resources that our region deserves.
Thanks,
Pete Aguilar
Member of Congress
