Tell Congress to vote NO on the "SAVE" Act!

Friend, we’ve got a problem.

The FBI raided a Georgia elections center. [1] The President called on Republicans to take over and illegally have big government run your local elections. [2] Trump advisor Steve Bannon suggests ICE should be deployed to voting sites as we head toward midterm elections. [3] And this week Republicans in Congress are fast tracking the anti-voter SAVE Act 2.0 to steal our voting rights in broad daylight. This is not a drill. Democracy is on the line.

Tell Congress: protect our voting rights and REJECT the Save 2.0 Act.

As if 2026 hasn’t already been a year (yes, it’s only the beginning of February), and as if we had not already defeated the anti-voter SAVE Act last year, its evil spawn has sprung up like a nightmarish game of voting rights whack-a-mole. It’s like they really don’t want us to vote…

Here’s the deal - Republicans are resurrecting this bill that will restrict eligible American voters in order to keep people from voting. The SAVE Act would require all eligible Americans to provide proof of citizenship by presenting a passport or birth certificate when registering to vote. 21 million Americans lack easy access to those documents and roughly half do not have passports. This would have a disproportionate impact on women, who often change their names when they get married or divorced.  [4] And in states like West Virginia, Mississippi, and Alabama, over 70% of citizens don’t have a passport. That is A LOT of voter suppression.

Don’t let the clever branding fool you. The “SAVE” Act 2.0 is ironically named because it would disenfranchise Americans of all ages, races, and backgrounds. The SAVE Act, in all of its forms, does nothing to make elections safer, but they do make it much harder to exercise your right to vote. Especially if you’re a woman, a person of color, or a young voter.

Are you one of the nearly 69 million married women in the US who changed your name when you married? Is your married name on your birth certificate? No? Then you won’t be able to use that to register to vote.

The SAVE Act penalizes women, making it significantly harder for them to register to vote. Further, the bill does not provide a clear way for women to prove their citizenship without a passport, which would leave many women without a way to register or cast their ballots. Married women who have changed their last name would also have to change their birth certificate, at significant cost and time, to meet the new voter requirements. This bill would impact working moms and those who simply cannot afford the expensive paperwork to prove they are eligible to vote.

This is straight up voter suppression cosplaying as Captain America. There is nothing, and we mean NOTHING, American in this bill. No attack on our democracy can be tolerated. Tell Congress to vote NO on this anti-American trash bill.

Together, we can make sure our right to vote stays intact,
