Hey there,
Joey here from the Arizona Democratic Party. I need to tell you about a vote on January 22nd that should make your blood boil.
Every single Arizona Republican in the House voted to fund Kristi Noem’s Department of Homeland Security, including ICE.
Andy Biggs. Juan Ciscomani. Eli Crane. Paul Gosar. Abe Hamadeh. David Schweikert.
All six voted yes in a 220-207 vote.
They voted to continue funding the untrained, unidentified masked agents who are violently and warrantlessly tearing through our communities with impunity.
Republicans own this. Can you chip in to help us vote them out in 2026?
Look, I'm going to be direct about what they voted to fund: ICE agents killing U.S. citizens with zero accountability. Workplace raids terrorizing Arizona communities. Federal agents engaging in racial profiling.
Meanwhile, Senators Mark Kelly and Ruben Gallego are demanding that these tactics change.
That's the difference. Republicans fund the violence. Democrats demand accountability.
Juan Ciscomani is particularly shameless. He represents CD-06 — a tossup seat that includes Tucson, where ICE pepper-sprayed U.S. Rep. Adelita Grijalva. He voted to fund the agency that attacked a sitting member of Congress, then went back to southern Arizona pretending he's a moderate.
His voting record proves otherwise. He voted for the "One Big Beautiful Bill" that strips Medicaid and SNAP from millions. He enabled the 43-day shutdown. He visited food banks after voting to slash food assistance.
We're going to vote Ciscomani out. Will you chip in to help us flip AZ-06?
The DHS funding bill was blocked in the Senate when several Republicans joined Democrats to oppose it. The violence in Minneapolis, Phoenix, and cities across America is impossible to defend.
But Arizona Republicans don't care. They voted to fund it anyway.
Now it's our job to make sure voters know who is enabling this chaos.
We're one year out from midterms. CD-06 is a toss-up. The path to flipping the House runs through Arizona. When I talk to voters in competitive districts, they're shocked when I show them how their representatives actually voted.
Our job is simple: Make sure every voter knows the truth before Election Day.
Thanks for being in this fight with us,
