Indivisibles,

A lot has happened in the last five weeks.

We helped organize two mass mobilizations against ICE and CBP violence
across the country. Protests and rallies continue as we put pressure on
Congress to pass a DHS funding bill that protects communities from these
lawless agencies.

Toward that effort, we’ve driven more than 200,000 calls and emails.
Because of activist pressure, we’ve already blocked a bill that would have
given ICE more funding.

Last week, we announced the date for the next No Kings Day. And while we
gear up for the largest protest in US history, we’re continuing to
mobilize this movement. With our No Kings partners, we hosted the largest
ICE watch training program ever with hundreds of thousands of attendees.

We’ve been up to a lot, but the one thing we haven’t been doing is
actively fundraising. By this point, other organizations and candidates
have probably sent you dozens of fundraising emails. This is our second
one of the year. To some extent, we prefer it this way -- our priority is
always offering you tangible actions you can take, not fundraising. But
the truth is, we need the support of grassroots donors to continue this
work.

We know how incredibly annoying and disrespectful it can be when campaigns
treat their supporters like an ATM machine (we get those emails too). We
also know these campaigns and PACs aren’t just hurting the relationships
with their own supporters, they’re also ruining email as a useful
mobilization tool for the rest of us.

So, at Indivisible, we try to do things differently. We won’t spam you
with fundraising asks -- the vast majority of our emails will direct you
to an action, not a fundraising page. We don’t use gimmicks or scammy
tactics either -- you’ll never need to donate to access our surveys,
trainings, or calls to action. When we do ask for donations, we’re
transparent about the need and how your donations will support the
movement.

support our organizing, trainings, and mass mobilizations, we hope you’ll
