As you know, the voter registration gap between Democrats and Republicans is staggering, both in the county and statewide.
That reality has pushed us to focus heavily on voter registration and to invest significant resources into those efforts.
And we think it’s safe to say what we're doing is working. The numbers from January are exciting.
In January, we had a 168% increase of Democratic registrations over Republicans countywide!
While these numbers tell us we’re on the right path, this is not a moment to celebrate. We are less than nine months away from Election Day.
