Dear John ,
Your heart and kidneys are closely connected, yet many people don't realize it. For those with type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure or other CKD risk factors, a simple, guideline-recommended uACR screening (urine albumin-to-creatinine ratio) can detect albumin (a protein), a potentially modifiable sign of kidney damage and elevated risk for cardiovascular events like a heart attack or stroke. Albumin in the urine (albuminuria) may also be detectable at early stages of chronic kidney disease.
Don't miss the signal. That’s why we’ve joined Boehringer Ingelheim and other partners on a mission to Detect the SOS.
