While nearly a million illegals live here, let in by Biden and Hobbs, the Democrats are making like it's no big deal- they can stay and the rest of us just have to suck up the cost and crime.
Well, I don't think so. I'm trying to keep them out- and prevent the illegals from sundering our struggling state!
I am pushing these bills as hard as I can:
SB1157 (2026): Appropriation; fencing; border; high-crossing areas. Provides funding for border fencing in high-crossing zones.
SB1156 (2026): Appropriation; short-term detention holds. Related to detention funding, potentially tied to border enforcement.
In the hearing for SB1157, can you believe a Democrat Senator actually said "I don't think we should have a border wall"???
I mean, welcome to Arizona in the 2020s pal! The bill passed out of my Committee, 4-3.
My other bill helps the municipalities that are struggling with the unreasonable costs of the illegal immigration onslaught.
Why should the AZ municipalities have to shoulder the burden of an invasion they didn't want or ask for?
SB1156 passed my committee 4-3 also.
The fact that these common sense bills only passed on party lines shows clearly the dangers in letting the Democrats have power.
They are delusional and radicalized and not in touch with reality. They simply cannot be trusted.
