John,
Just over three years ago, I declared a homelessness state of emergency. I set ambitious state targets to prioritize reducing and preventing unsheltered homelessness in all areas of the state.
We surpassed each benchmark set during that time, a testament to the change we can accomplish together when we have the resources, collaboration, and flexibility needed to get the job done.
We have helped thousands of people move from the streets into shelter, from shelter into homes, and prevented thousands more from experiencing homelessness in the first place.
It’s a strong start, but the urgency remains, and we need to see this strategy through. That’s why, earlier this month, I extended the state of emergency and sharpened the focus on the intersection of chronic homelessness and access to mental health and addiction care. If we remain unrelenting in our goals, we can achieve a healthier, safer, more prosperous Oregon, where everyone has a place to call home.
That's why I'm running for re-election, to continue the work underway. Will you pitch in $5 today so that I can continue this critical work?

We can do great things for Oregon, together.
Thank you!
