Assalamu'alaykum John,

While we strive to facilitate hope to those who are unjustly targeted by
religiously-motivated violations to their rights, the truth is, many of
our clients inspire hope in us, too.

They approach us after exhausting many of the remedies at their disposal
and recognize that they need to fight harder with experts on their side.
They have hope in our ability to take on their case and get results.
They come to us knowing that the fight may be long, hard, and exhausting
- but they are hopeful and determined to see their case through.

And so are we. Our beneficiaries are family. Many of their cases last
years, and we are there with them every step of the way. Through it all,
they are unwavering in their trust in God and hope in victory. This, in
turn, fuels our passion for justice.

"May Allah reward you for everything you have done in my case for me.

I am in your debt which I will never be able to pay you back.

Thank you and may Allah reward you the highest level of paradise."

~ Hamid Hayat, freed after 14 years behind bars.

"I cannot put into words how much gratitude and appreciation I have for
CLCMA and MLFA for their selfless work in fighting discrimination
against the Muslim community.

I pray all of us stay united in helping them take their goals to the
next level."

~ Ahmad S., granted citizenship after years-long unwarranted delay.

"I once heard someone say that hope was nothing more than wishful
thinking,

but I believe that hope is never a waste when you have CLCMA and MLFA on
your team.

I say this because hope combined with discipline and targeted action
produces results."

~ Akili Ujima, government employee fighting for religious accommodation
rights

with the help of MLFA-funded attorneys.

We are humbled by our beneficiaries' hope and trust, and are honored
to know and serve them. This is all thanks to our generous donors who
help inspire hope and facilitate justice.

John, will you help keep the work of justice going? Please make a
generous contribution in these final blessed days of the year.

In faith and for justice,

Arshia Ali-Khan
Chief Development Officer

Inspire hope & help fulfill promises during these final blessed days!
