Friends and Neighbors,

There have been three important developments on federal immigration enforcement in Minnesota recently that you should be aware of:

First, President Trump dispatched Border Czar Tom Homan to Minnesota to be the point man, and it has already paid dividends. If Gov. Walz, A.G. Ellison, and local leaders had cooperated from the beginning instead of using inflammatory rhetoric, we could have avoided the chaos of the last few weeks.

Second, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem announced DHS law enforcement agents in Minneapolis will wear body cameras. This is more great news. Documenting these interactions, especially when they turn violent, will allow us to sort out truth from the narratives spun by the media and left-wing agitators.

Finally, we’re learning more about the organization behind these protests. As it turns out, they are organized and well-funded, including by names you already know like the Soros Foundation. The bottom line is that we haven’t been seeing an organic groundswell; we have been seeing organized disruption funded by liberal donors intent on creating division and chaos.

I recently filmed a video about these issues. Watch it here, and let me know what you think: https://youtube.com/shorts/BcJT-Msai8k?feature=share

Thank you for staying informed. If you have any questions, please reach out.

God Bless,

Glenn Gruenhagen
