Friend,
Republicans in Congress hope that by kicking the can down the road
on ICE funding, our movement will lose momentum.
Instead, we’re rising up like never before to demand
action.
On Wednesday, Bend the Arc, T'ruah, and over 50 co-sponsoring
organizations will be in Washington
D.C. with more than 100 rabbis and cantors leading a
protest outside ICE Headquarters.
Simultaneous actions will take place in Minneapolis
and Massachusetts
to draw attention to the complicity of corporations, including Target
and Signature Aviation, an airline that provides fuel and logistics
for ICE flights.

Can’t make it in-person? Support
the demands from immigration, Jewish, and civil rights groups: Email
Congress today to say not one more dollar for ICE.
Here’s the latest update on the ICE budget fight:
Congressional Republicans want to give ICE $64.4 billion
for another year. Billions of dollars to rip families apart, build
more prison camps, tear gas peaceful protestors, and murder legal
observers.
Democratic leadership is demanding policy changes to ICE, like
requirements for masks, body cameras, and judicial warrants, limits on
uses of force, and more government oversight.1
These measures are the absolute bare minimum, and
we must continue to demand loudly and clearly: Congress must commit to
ending ICE terror, full stop — including cutting ICE’s
funding.
Email
Congress now and tell them: vote NO on any bill that continues ICE and
CBP funding and doesn’t end ICE’s violence.
The tides are turning, and the vast majority of Americans are on
our side.2,3
Keep an eye on your inbox next week for next steps with Jews
against ICE.
In solidarity,
