This verse has guided every major decision in my life.
It's why I joined the Marines to defend those who couldn't defend themselves.
It's why I became a police detective and went undercover to protect families from cartels and gangs.
And it's why I'm running for Congress in New Mexico's 2nd District.
God gave me abilities — the ability to serve, to fight, to stand between evil and the innocent. If I waste that blessing by staying silent while our border collapses and our communities suffer, I answer to Him for it.
I can't stay silent. I won't.
