Did you know that the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is turning 30 this July? That's right – until 1990, employers, schools, and all public and private places open to the general public were free to discriminate against people with disabilities. This landmark legislation is younger than:

🎤  Taylor Swift 

Rock the Vote's #DemocracySummer2020 continues this Thursday, July 30 at 9pm ET with a virtual event celebrating the progress made during 30 years of the ADA and highlighting the continuing fight for disability justice and accessible voting. There are just a few days left to RSVP – let us know you'll be there!

The ADA was only the beginning in the fight for our rights. This year we need to register and vote to make sure our diverse community is prioritized at all levels of government.
