Nottingham Light Night begins this evening from 5pm! Grab your brollies and don't let a little drizzle put you off. Get ready to explore the city after dark with more than 30 free activities and installations to discover. Highlights include:

  • Parallels at Old Market Square
  • The Cat That Slept For A Thousand Years at Sneinton Market Square
  • Electric Avenues at Sneinton Market Avenues
  • LIMB at Nottingham Castle
  • Mycelium Network at the Robin Hood Statue
  • Obelisk of Connectivity outside St Mary's Church
  • Creative Showcase at Nottingham College
  • Move with Marina at Trinity Square

We recommend pre-booking your free tickets for Tom Dale Company: More Than Human at Nottingham Contemporary (Saturday only) as a limited number of walk-ups will be available on the day.

The Light Night Market will be on Smithy Row from 11am-10pm each day, featuring a hand-picked selection of street food and independent traders such as loaded fries, freshly cooked Chinese food, crepes, baked goods, and more. 

It’s in Nottingham also presents Light It Up Duckie in shop windows across the city. The playful pieces encourage visitors to explore Nottingham’s streets, enjoy the imaginative window displays, and share their favourite ducks on social media using #LightItUpDuckie

Download the free guide and map or pick up a printed brochure from the Tourism Centre on Smithy Row (open 9.30am-5.30pm) or from one of the information totems. Volunteers will be on hand to offer directions and answer any questions.

Nottingham City Transport
The £3 single fare cap is available on all Nottingham City Transport services. The Grouprider ticket (2 adults and up to 3 children) is available for £9 and allows unlimited all-day travel in the City Zone, or for £13 across the City Zone and Outer Zone.

trentbarton
The £3 single fare cap is available on all trentbarton services (except for red arrow). The family zigzag ticket (2 adults and up to 3 children) is £18.90.

Tram
Get one-day unlimited travel with the NET Tram Group Ticket (1 or 2 adults and up to 3 children) for £12, available Monday-Friday after 4pm, and weekends.

Car parking
Park at the Broad Marsh Car Park for £4 (enter after 5pm, leave by 10.30pm). No pre-booking required.

They live a simple life, rich in family and friends, in the beautiful Syrian city of Aleppo - until the unthinkable happens. When all they care for is destroyed by war, they are forced to escape.

On their terrifying journey, they must face the pain of their own unbearable loss alongside incredible danger. Above all, they must journey to find each other again. This compassionate and beautiful play is a story of connection - between friends, families and strangers.
