Friend, that was Donald Trump’s response to Chris Wallace, who during a Fox News interview asked Trump whether he’ll accept November’s election results. And if that answer doesn’t frighten you, it should.

Trump’s comments are just the latest in a deliberate attempt to undermine our democracy and the legitimacy of our elections, as evidenced by his recent attacks on expanded mail-in voting, which dozens of states may adopt in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Last month, he tweeted that “Because of MAIL-IN BALLOTS, 2020 will be the most RIGGED Election in our nations history.”
