John,
One month into 2026, and Republicans are already losing their minds and saying the quiet part out loud.
This week, Steve Bannon stood behind a podium and announced that ICE should surround polling places in November.
That didn’t come out of nowhere. It followed Donald Trump openly musing about federal control of elections and House Speaker Mike Johnson repeating the same tired lie – that ballots “magically” appear and elections can’t be trusted, even when he admits he has no proof.
ICE at polling places doesn’t need to arrest anyone to do damage. Their presence alone keeps people home, blocks roads, scares volunteers, and chills turnout – especially in the communities Republicans know they can’t win.
At GOTV PAC, we’re not waiting for that normalization to settle in.
We’re building turnout operations designed for intimidation-heavy environments: voter protection, rapid response, aggressive mobilization, and direct contact that gets people to the polls even when Republicans try to scare them off.
But we can’t do that without resources.
If you’re able, chip in $25, $50, or whatever you can right now to help GOTV PAC ramp up voter turnout efforts before Republicans turn threats into reality.
