Renee Good was a mother and a writer.
Alex Pretti was an ICU and VA nurse.
Both were American citizens exercising their constitutional rights — and both were killed by federal agents.
What happened in Minnesota should alarm every American. This isn't just a heartbreaking tragedy. We’re witnessing a dangerous pattern of this administration pushing beyond the limits of our constitution — with intimidation, fear, and violence.
Under Homeland Security Secretary Noem's direction, ICE has been terrorizing communities all across the country — including right here in North Carolina, from Raleigh to Charlotte.
Masked agents raiding homes without warrants. Families ripped apart. Citizens and legal residents detained. Violence against peaceful protestors.
These things do not make us safer. Instead, they harm communities, erode freedoms, and make people fear for their lives.
And unless we hold them accountable, it's only a matter of time before tragedy strikes again.
That’s why I’m doing everything I can to hold this administration accountable, including calling for the removal or impeachment of Secretary Kristi Noem.
We cannot allow a culture of fear and impunity to take root in our country. Not here. Not anywhere.
Thank you for joining me in this fight,
Deborah Ross
