The Democratic House response? First, we passed the CARES Act — adding an extra $600/wk to unemployment benefits. Then, we passed the HEROES Act — proposing a second round of direct payments to support American children and families.

The Republican-controlled Senate’s response? GOP senators have stalled relief for so long that Americans may lose critical unemployment benefits and protections at the end of the week.

The GOP is failing Americans — when we need leadership the most.
