That’s why ADL’s experts quickly recognized the graffiti was the work of the Base — a militant and dangerous neo-Nazi extremist group, whose targets include Jews, LGBTQ+ and immigrants. We notified authorities and educated them about the group and its local cell. It turned out this graffiti was part of a much larger, multi-state, intimidation campaign. Thanks to ADL and our supporters like you, the FBI was able to put the pieces together and arrest the organizer, who lived hundreds of miles away in New Jersey.

ADL also connected the synagogue to resources to hire security for the high holidays, allowing Jewish families to worship freely and safely — as everyone should be able to do.
