Open this ASAP to find out how you can help fight for DACA

In case you missed it, friend — I’m forwarding Juanita’s email from yesterday explaining what we know about Trump’s latest attempt to dismantle DACA and endanger the lives of immigrants and undocumented people everywhere.

Will you take a moment to read more about what this means for impacted people and then immediately make a donation to the DACA Rapid Response Fund? We’re going into meetings with organizers all over the country to make a plan for how to respond and it would be really helpful if we knew what kind of resources we could count on. Any amount helps!

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

The last time we needed the DACA Rapid Response Fund we were able to rely on the money we raised to help us organize our way to victory at the Supreme Court. Now, we’ll need it it again as we grapple with what this xenophobic and hate-fueled administration’s latest announcement means both in the immediate and long-run.

Thanks for anything you can chip in,

Nestor from United We Dream Action

Team —

Trump announced a new move to dismantle DACA! His administration will not accept new DACA applications and DACA renewals would be approved for just one year, instead of two.

Trump is putting thousands in our communities in danger of deportation. He is hellbent on using immigrant youth with DACA as leverage to grow the deportation force to jail and deport immigrants. He will continue to attack immigrants as a way to distract from his catastrophic failures dealing with the COVID-19 global health and economic crisis. But we aren’t stopping our fight for a second! Right now we must spring into action with the new information we have to reach as many undocumented people and DACA recipients as possible.

Will you make a donation of any amount to the United We Dream Action DACA Rapid Response Fund? Our budget is running low after fighting hard to win at the Supreme Court, and we are relying on grassroots donors like you to help us reach as many people as possible right now. Consider a donation of $10 — or more, if you can — today.

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

Make no mistake: by reducing the protection of deportation of DACA recipients from two years to one year and refusing to open up new DACA applications, Trump’s only intention is to deport immigrant youth should he win in November.

That’s why we will not back down from our fight to protect our communities and are doubling down on our effort to engage voters in the election. In fact, our team is hard at work parsing out exactly what today’s memo from the Trump administration means for our community. In the meantime, we need to be gathering as many resources as we can to fight back against yet another attack on our lives from this hate-fueled, racist president and his enablers both in Congress and across the administration.

Your contribution of any amount means the world to us. We can’t do this work without your support, and our community of immigrants and undocumented people need you now more than ever.

Thanks for anything you can do to help,

Juanita from United We Dream Action
