BREAKING: The Trump Administration is attacking Dreamers by cutting DACA benefits and is setting the stage to end DACA in 2021.

President Trump has been in open defiance of the Supreme Court, weeks after it rejected his failed three-year effort to terminate DACA. And now he's cutting DACA benefits and setting the stage to end DACA in 2021. The President is attacking Dreamers and American values.
The Senate must act now to protect our undocumented community members by passing the Dream and Promise Act today.

Friend,
The Trump Administration just announced it was moving ahead with a two-step plan to end DACA, while trying to spin this as a somehow moderate position.
Here’s what they are doing: first, they will move to radically reduce DACA benefits in half, effective today. Second, they have set the stage to kill DACA in 2021 — or even later this year — and are refusing to accept new DACA applications.
This is absolutely the wrong step, plain and simple. We’re going to fight to protect Dreamers — and we need you with us. If Senate Republicans allowed a vote on the Dream and Promise Act, which the House passed over a year ago, then Dreamers would have the pathway to citizenship and permanent solution they deserve.
Email your senators now. Tell them to protect Dreamers by passing the Dream and Promise Act today.

DACA recipients and their families deserve certainty and peace of mind. They are people with children, families, and jobs. Many are fighting on the frontlines of the coronavirus pandemic, helping to save American lives. But no matter their occupation, no one deserves to live their life subject to this sort of chaos and cruelty.
This is on President Trump. He was clearly in violation of the Supreme Court by not accepting new DACA applications, and is again attacking DACA. The President is trying to avoid the political consequences of his wildly unpopular actions against Dreamers, while appealing to his anti-immigrant base. Cutting the program’s length in half — to just one year — and excluding hundreds of thousands of new DACA applicants is cruel and chaotic.
We should be very clear: recent public polling showed the President is taking the position only held by 12 percent of Americans as a closing argument for his re-election. He is responsible for the horror that is to come if Dreamers are cruelly separated from their families, ripped out of their communities, and deported from the only country most of them have ever known. The President should not embark on another morally and politically terrible effort to attack Dreamers and declare war on American values.
So here’s what we need everyone to do:
Contact the United States Senate and demand they pass the Dream and Promise Act. Dreamers need your voice right now.
Email your senators immediately and demand their urgent support for the Dream and Promise Act.

Regardless of this Administration’s actions, we will never give up fighting for our friends, families, and communities.
