Trump just attacked me by name on Truth Social. 

He endorsed my extremist Republican opponent and disparaged me. His post is full of lies and hyperbole, but that’s what we have come to expect while the MAGA machine targets me and my seat as one of the toughest seats for Democrats to hold onto in America. He called my extremist Republican opponent a “MAGA warrior” and me a “left wing lunatic.”

Here are three things you need to know about what that means for our campaign. 

1. National Republicans are ready to spend enormous sums of money to defeat me. Our grassroots movement must be ready to respond. 
2. The attacks are only going to get uglier. We will need resources to correct the record. 
3. This is a huge moment for our campaign. Now is the time to prove we are ready for what’s to come.
