John, when Republicans gerrymandered our state (yet again) last year, it was ALL for their own power and their party’s gain. NC GOP lawmakers changed the maps so they could choose their own voters and guarantee that Republicans could hold onto power in Washington. In the process, they stripped Black communities of their due voting power in elections to come. They don’t care about the rights of the voters. They don’t care about the principles on which our representative democracy was built. But we cannot allow them to win.
