I could not believe I’d actually won a trip to meet Pete at the debate in Detroit. As a queer millennial dedicated to social justice, I was drawn to Pete’s message. His vision for our country can change lives. As an English teacher for immigrant and refugee kids, I can tell you it’s urgently needed.
