Dear Friend,
Earlier this week, we hit every one of our big fundraising goals for the important January 31 campaign report. It’s a milestone where every campaign takes stock of where they are. I’m proud to report our position is incredibly strong.
Hundreds more Ward 6 residents chipped in to our re-election campaign, $5, $15, and $50 at a time. And unlike any of our opponents, about 91% of our donors actually call DC home – and three out of four supporters live right here in Ward 6!
Every campaign I’ve run, I’ve been successful because I focus on neighbors like you, a shared vision of our future, and refuse to be bought or bossed by big money special interests. Thank you for this incredible support!
This week, it’s not just strong fundraising I can share. It’s also growing support from working families and important partners. Those early endorsements include:
* Our Firefighters and First Responders; [[link removed]]

* Hotel and Service Workers;
* Bus Drivers and Rail Operators on Public Transit;
* Trades Workers;
* and Working Families Across DC.
They know I am a leader who delivers results. I’m honored to stand with them. Check out what they’re saying:

As we hit the next phase of the campaign, look out for volunteers as we’re out collecting hundreds of signatures from Ward 6 voters at markets and going door-to-door. This is critical to ensure my name appears on the ballot. If you spot someone and are a Ward 6 resident, please take 2 minutes to sign the petition!
And don't worry, as this snow and ice starts to melt we’ll be able to get back to delivering those yard signs many of you requested. Ready for your yard sign? Put in a request here [[link removed]] .
So as our campaign celebrates where we are and works into the next phase, I have three asks:
* Volunteer to help us collect the signatures [[link removed]] we need to qualify for the ballot. Just one hour of your time makes a big difference.
* Host a meet and greet [[link removed]] with your friends and neighbors. What a great excuse to get together!
* Chip in to the campaign [[link removed]] if you haven’t already. As a Fair Elections candidate, every dollar gets matched 5-to-1 with public financing, so your donation goes far!
