This week, HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced a major shift in how addiction will be addressed. For the first time, HHS will implement an outcome-oriented rehab approach that focuses on helping individuals stay clean, reconnect with their communities, find purpose, and identify children at risk before addiction develops. Economic incentives to maintain addiction will no longer guide policy.

At this week’s MAHA™ Media Hub, a diverse group of MAHA leaders joined to speak on key health issues:

- Dr. Drew Pinsky, with decades of experience in addiction treatment, discussed how this new approach will finally address addiction head-on and save thousands of lives.
- Dr. Eric Berg sounded the alarm on Florida Bill HB 433, a draconian measure quietly being pushed through the Florida Farm Bill that would criminalize speaking out against topics like pesticides.

- Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong and CMS Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz explained how keeping Americans healthy benefits individuals and is one of the most effective ways to reduce the growing federal debt.

- Jax Bari, a 12-year-old diagnosed with celiac disease before kindergarten, gave an inspiring presentation about his journey and how he is now fighting for more transparent gluten labeling on food to help 729,000 other children like him.

Other speakers included Gary Brecka, Gavin de Becker, Dr. Robert Malone, Russell Brand, and Sayer Ji.

We appreciate you showing up week in and week out for this movement. Together, we have already secured important victories, and many more are ahead. At the same time, even in states with strong MAHA support like Florida, lobbyists continue to look for ways to quietly push anti MAHA policies, which is why staying alert and speaking out matters.

We still have a long road ahead, but we are honored to stand side by side with you in the fight for our children’s health.
