The Minnesota Department of Revenue offers other resources for tax professionals to obtain client information to help prepare tax returns or resolve other tax situations. Check out the Information Requests webpage to find out how to obtain copies of tax returns, payment histories, and forms W-2 and 1099 state withholding. Be sure you have a current power of attorney form on file before making any request.

Can my client give me third-party access to review their online tax account?                       

Not at this time. Only businesses can provide tax professionals with third-party access.
