Express Interest – Host Site-Visits and Youth Focus Groups
NYCI is developing a new national research study to assess the Socio‑economic Value of Youth Work in Ireland. This study will build on NYCI’s landmark 2012 report and will produce an updated, robust evidence base that captures both the economic and social return delivered by the Youth Work sector. Empowering Youth Workers Through AI & Other Emerging Technologies Pilot
We’re inviting youth workers to take part in the pilot of a new online course designed to build confidence in AI and emerging technology within youth work settings. Designed to be useful for all skill levels, the course itself is practical, supportive and focused on helping all youth workers understand what AI is, what the risks are and how it can be used safely for everyday admin and Organisational needs. Irish Girl Guides has welcomed a new Chief Commissioner. Aisling Claffey Healion has been appointed to the role, succeeding Amanda O’Sullivan, who has served as Chief Commissioner since 2019.

ECO-UNESCO: Young Environmentalist Awards 2026 Deadline Approaching
Register now for the free Young Environmentalist Awards, open to groups of young people aged 10–18 creating environmental action projects. Once registered, groups receive their submission folder for which the completion deadline is Tuesday 10th February.

DEY: Foras na Gaeilge Summer Camp Scheme 2026
Foras na Gaeilge is providing funding for appropriate Summer Camps through Irish for young people (3 to 18 years of age), which aim to strengthen the Irish language through a mix of activities. This is a nonprofit scheme to keep the camp fees low for the young people. Deadline: 9th March
