Yesterday marks one year since the tragic shooting at the Gilroy Garlic Festival. Collectively we remember those we lost, their loved ones, and the survivors who live with the trauma of that day.
Just as we grieve, we must also act. In Congress, California Democrats are continuing to lead the way in passing gun control legislation to prevent future tragedies. Together the House passed the first gun control legislation in decades. We will keep fighting for gun safety legislation by working with organizations like Moms Demand Action, March For Our Lives, and many more.
Together, we can build a movement so that no one else has to lose a family member to a mass shooting ever again. Please, join our movement, and commit to taking action in the next 97 days before the election. [[link removed]]
