The WTPC Endorses Vivek Ramaswamy for Ohio Governor We have waited for a long time to elect someone as Ohio Governor who will put the citizens of Ohio First. Not be owned by the donors and special Interests or beholding to the political machine in Columbus. We want to DOGE Ohio and Vivek does as well! ALL Government Agencies in Ohio are in need of serious reform! Schools, City Governments, Police, Fire, County Governments - and Yes State Government! The fact is that the cost of government services in Ohio has exceeded the ability of the public to pay for them! Ramaswamy, like Trump, can self-fund his campaign and therefore cannot be bought - which is why the Columbus Cartel fears him and we support him. We hear the attacks on Vivek from the Right and the Left. Some of the criticism is true, just like some of the criticism of Trump was true. We voted for Trump because he understood what We the People wanted him to do to Make America Great Again - and he is doing it! Vivek understands that what is holding Ohio back is inefficient government, too much government, and government that is simply too costly! We the People want to get government out of our way so our state, and we, can prosper. No "traditional" candidate could challenge the entrenched bureaucracies because they would be a product of them. That is why a total outsider like Vivek is the change agent we need to fix our state. Franky, we may never get this chance again. We urge all Ohioans to vote for Vivek Ramaswamy in the Republican Primary for Ohio Governor and help him make Ohio Great Again! The WTPC Endorses Marcell Strbich for Ohio Secretary of State Marcell Strbich may be the most qualified person to run for a state-wide political office that we have ever met. He literally is an expert at election law and election operations. Besides his 20 year career as an Air Force Intelligence Officer, Marcell brings decades of national security and real-world business experience to modernize and secure election systems. He also has a proven track record presenting election integrity legislation in Ohio and nationally. Marcell has the trusted support and confidence of President Trumps former National Security Advisor General Michael Flynn and foremost national election integrity expert Cleta Mitchell. He’s garnered county endorsements such as Butler & Monroe County and from pro-life organizations like Ohio Value Voters and Cleveland Right-to-life. He simply is the best choice for Secretary of State and deserves your vote. The Ohio Republican Party State Central Committee is going to vote at their February 20, 2026 meeting to endorse someone for the Ohio Secretary of State position. Strbich' s opponent, Robert Sprague, whom we have endorsed multiple times in the past, will be favored by the Republican establishment primarily because he is one of them. That is not good enough. Not this time. Not like it has been so many times in the past. We the People demand that the Republican Party give us "the most qualified candidate who can win" and that person in unquestionably Marcell Strbich. He will demonstrate that when each candidate makes their statement before you vote to endorse. We urge the GOP State Central Committee endorse Marcell Strbich for Secretary of State and we urge Ohio's voters to vote for him in the Republican Primary election on May 5, 2025. The WTPC Endorses Kristina Roegner for Ohio Treasurer We have known Kristina Roegner since the start of the TEA Party in 2008. She has stood with us many times, literally in both the cold and sun, holding signs or going door-to-door fighting to protect the unborn or to elect Trump and other conservative candidates. Her voting record in the Ohio House and Senate could not be more consistent or conservative. Now she is running to be your Treasurer of State. Not because she needs a job, she doesn't, but because she wants to continue serving the public. She is more than qualified to watch over your tax dollars because she has an MBA Degree in Finance and Strategy and has worked as a management consultant for the prestigious global management firm McKinsey & Co. She has also worked in the power generation industry and has owned her own small business. She knows how to implement proper financial controls in large organizations. There will be no theft of tax dollars in Ohio when Kristina Roegner is your State Treasure and she is the best candidate for this very important position. We urge the Ohio Republican Party State Central Committee to UNANIMOUSLY endorse Kristina Roegner as your candidate for Secretary of State! You MUST send a strong message to the already censured "Blue 22" disgrace of a candidate who is running against her that he and his supporters have no place in today's Republican Party! Keith Faber is the current Auditor of State and is running for Attorney General. He is running unopposed in the Republican Primary. He is running unopposed in the Republican Primary. HERE ARE THE OHIO FEDERAL CANDIDATES WE ARE ENDORSING SO FAR: The WTPC Endorses Jon Husted for US Senator Many of us in the Ohio grassroots have had problems in the past with Incumbent US Senator Jon Husted - particularly during Covid. Regardless, that can have NO BEARING on how WE vote in 2026! Full Stop. Jon Husted has been a totally reliable vote for President Trump and our MAGA Agenda since he was appointed to the US Senate. We have been very happy with the job he has done as our Senator. The Democrats think that they can take this seat back and use it to stop President Trump and OUR Agenda! We, you and I, cannot allow that to happen. We MUST hold control of the US Senate by re-electing Jon Husted! Therefore, the WTPC unequivocally endorses Jon Husted for US Senate and we urge ALL Ohio voters to support him as well! The WTPC Endorses Derek Merrin for US House in the 9th District We have previously supported Derek Merrin in his run for Speaker of the Ohio House and we urged people to vote for him in 2024 when he lost to Marcy Kaptur by just .7% or 2,300 votes for Congress. Now the 9th District has been redistricted, giving him a better chance at finally retiring the 79 year old Democrat. Though he has several challengers in the Republican Primary, he is leading in the polling - both in the primary and against Kaptur. He is getting significant financial support already and, if he wins the primary, he will be a top national target for the Republican House to take out a vulnerable Democrat. This is MUST WIN House seat if President Trump is going to keep from being impeached by the Democrats over and over again for the next two years! We think Derek Merrin is the candidate most likely to defeat Kaptur in November, so the WTPC Endorses Derek Merrin in the May 5th primary and urges all conservatives in Toledo and NW Ohio to vote for him! The WTPC Endorses Carey Coleman for US House in the 13th District We just met Carey Coleman who is a radio personality on WNIR Radio in Portage County. He has had a long career in TV and Radio broadcasting in NE Ohio so he has some name recognition. He has decided to run for US Congress to fill the void left by Kevin Coughlin who is not running this year but nearly won the 13th District in 2024. Unfortunately, the 13th District has been redistricted into a more Democratic district this time, making it harder for Coleman to win. Coleman is realistic about the difficulty of unseating a sitting Congresswoman who will have tons of money since the Democrats are desperate to hold the few seats they have in Ohio. Still, he is getting some financial support and he has the personality, the conservative message, and the communications skills to win over a lot of voters. He has several challengers in the Republican Primary but we think he has the best chance of stealing this seat in November. That is why the WTPC is endorsing him and we are asking every conservative voter in the Akron - Canton area to vote for Carey Coleman in the May 5th Primary!
